The Disney+ app now has Hulu content

In an effort to provide more options to users, Disney+ claimed in November that it would soon integrate Hulu’s content. In this way, users will be able to find content from two different streaming services on a single platform. Disney+ used the term Hulu on Disney+ to refer to this new change. Reportedly, the company promised to roll out the beta version of the above-mentioned feature this month, whereas the stable version will arrive in the spring of next year.

According to some recent pieces of information, the company has now rolled out the beta version of Hulu on Disney+. Disney+ now has Hulu as a section alongside Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic following the launch of the unified experience. As soon as the user clicks on Hulu, the content from Hulu on Disney+ is available.

One thing to notice here is that content like “Hulu + Live TV and Premium add-ons” is not available on Disney+. In order to access it, users are required to access the Hulu app. Well, this is not strange at all since the unified experience doesn’t intend to replace either Hulu or Disney+ which still operate as separate streaming service providers. The new Hulu on Disney+ is now live in the US. Users can access it from Disney+’s iOS, Android, and web apps. Do note that users who are members of any Disney Bundle plan or Disney+ and Hulu separately can access it. Currently, there are no details on when the unified experience will be accessible in other regions.
