The Google Pixel 8 series comes with “Actua Display”

The majority of smartphone users face the difficulty of using a smartphone in direct sunlight. Well, it seems like this problem is going to be resolved by Google with its upcoming Pixel 8 series. Recently, we came across several pieces of leaked information about the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
Reportedly, Google is teasing the display of the upcoming smartphones with the term “Actua Display”. A peak brightness of 2,000 nits will be offered with the Pixel 8, whereas the Pixel 8 Pro will feature 2,400 nits of peak brightness. In comparison, high-end smartphones by Samsung like the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and others feature 1,750 nits of peak brightness. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro features 2,000 nits of peak brightness. This means that the upcoming Pixel 8 Pro will have the brightest display on the market.
Pixel 8 Pro will feature a flat display
Alongside this information, the leaks confirm that the Pixel 8 Pro will feature a flat display. Well, it has been reported previously in other rumors and leaks. However, this time it has been unveiled via an image shared on the Google Play Store. Pixel 8 Pro features a flat 6.7-inch QHD display.
In contrast to a flat display, a curved display is prone to scratches, despite the fact that it has a nice appeal. Furthermore, a screen protector becomes difficult to put on a curved display. The Pixel 8 series is set to debut at the annual Google fall event scheduled for October 4.
