The iPhone 15 might be the first to include Wi-Fi 6E

iPhone 15 could feature Wi-Fi 6E support. This is the most recent news that we have come across from some analysts. The support for Wi-Fi 6E will be brought to the latest iPhone series after some other devices by Apple i.e., Mac mini, iPad Pro, and MacBook Pro. Blayne Curtis and Tom O’Malley, the analysts from Barclays, shared a report, spotted by MacRumors. The report predicts that the company could deliver support for Wi-Fi 6E to its future iPhone 15 lineup.

As of now, it is unclear whether the support will be restricted to the iPhone 15 Pro models or will it extend to other models as well.

When it comes to Wi-Fi 6E, it works on similar bands to the Wi-Fi 6 i.e., 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. In addition to these bands, it operates on a 6GHz band as well. Such a feature offers fast wireless speed along with less signal interference. In order to use the Wi-Fi 6, the devices need an active connection with a Wi-Fi 6E router.

Speaking of other devices by Apple, Wi-Fi 6E support is not unique to the latest gadgets. It is presented with an 11-inch as well as a 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Additionally, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro and Mac Mini feature support for Wi-Fi 6E. on the other hand, the iPhone 14 series have support for Wi-Fi 6.

In fall 2023, Apple is anticipated to introduce the iPhone 15 series. Some analysts have already started predicting the forthcoming series of smartphones. According to some analysts, iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could feature a 48MP wide lens and a 3-stacked sensor, similar to the one presented on iPhone 14 Pro models. Aside from this, some analysts predict that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max could have a 12MP periscope lens having enhanced optical zoom. Furthermore, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are expected to feature an A17 chip. The A17 chip could be based on 3nm technology by TSMC, 8GB of RAM, and a unique titanium frame.
