The sales of Huawei’s latest flagship devices are doing well in China

The Chinese company Huawei introduced its flagship Mate X3 and P60 during this fiscal year. It seems like the company is enjoying fame and brand devotion locally in China, with respect to the flagship offerings. During the latest Huawei Mobile Innovation Technology Media Communication Conference, the company’s CBG CTO Bruce Lee declared that its Mate X3 is the top seller in China. On the other hand, the P60 series also holds the top position in sales in the country. They are available in the price segment of 4000 to 6000 yuan.

Well, there is a doubt about these statistics. Since they appear to be internal and self-reported. Despite this, the fact can’t be denied that the company has some certainty in these claims. As per reports from Counterpoint research and a few other market researchers, in a domestic sales industry that is generally falling, Huawei stands out as a success story.

During the first quarter of 2023, the company observed a shipment increase of 41%. The market share of Huawei jumped to 9.2% YoY in contrast to the first quarter of the previous year. Such statistics indicate that the company is trying its best to stay competitive in its native location. Industry analysts claim that people in the country have a strong sense of long-term trust and brand loyalty for Huawei, and they value the company’s ongoing innovation. As of now, the 5G factor is not a great deal for Huawei at least in China.
