The Wallet app for iOS 17 might display additional credit card balances

Over the course of the previous few weeks, we have come across several pieces of information regarding the upgrades and features of iOS 17. As of now, we have some interesting pieces of information regarding the Wallet app. In accordance with the recent information provided by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the Wallet app can now show balances for several credit cards that are set up with Apple Pay. Well, this is a major upgrade with the iOS 17. Since previously users only had access to the Apple Card’s balance in the app.

The Wallet app will receive the updates with the fresh iOS 17 arrival. The company is going to strengthen its financial services for users. According to Gurman, that might entail the app being more integrated with external credit cards to provide balance details. In this way, it will simulate the functionality of the Apple Card. Similar to other financial-related features, there is a possibility that the new credit card balance feature will be restricted to the users of the United States initially.

As part of a larger summary of his WWDC expectations, Gurman mentioned this probable new Wallet app feature. His report provides a wealth of information regarding Apple’s long-rumored AR/VR headset, new Macs, iOS 17, and upcoming announcements. Previously, Gurman reported that the company might introduce a new Mac Studio at WWDC. In addition to this, he also mentioned that the company might upgrade Siri. according to him, the firm could abandon the “Hey Siri” slogan and announce this change during WWDC. Furthermore, Apple could also introduce a new MacBook Air.

Apple’s keynote address kicks off WWDC on Monday, June 5 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. Users can stream the event online via YouTube Live, Apple’s Events websites, Apple Developer App, or the Apple TV app.
