Vivo might be the first company to utilize Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset in a foldable smartphone
According to some recent pieces of information, Vivo could be the first company to introduce a foldable smartphone based on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The recent information comes from Digital Chat Station, a renowned tipster from China.
The information was shared on Weibo. The source mentioned the name of the device i.e., Vivo X Fold 2. Vivo X Fold 2 is a descendant of Vivo X Fold introduced in April 2022. It is anticipated that Vivo X Fold 2 could arrive in a similar timeframe as the Vivo X Fold.
Besides this, the source has shed some light on the spec of the forthcoming device. According to him, Vivo X Fold 2 will feature a 4,800mAh battery, and support 120W wired charging.
