Vivo Releases the Vivo Y15A in the Philippines with Helio P35
Vivo launched the Vivo 15A in the Phlippines with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD and a Helio P35 SoC.
After releasing a few Vivo smartphones in the internal markets, Vivo has now released the Y15A in the Philippines. It’s a budget-friendly smartphone and comes with valuable specifications.
This Vivo smartphone sports a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The front side has an 8MP front camera for selfies, while the rear side has a dual-camera setup with a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Besides the two rear cameras, there’s also an LED flash.
Going under the hood, we get the Helio P35 SoC with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The device has a powerful 5000mAh battery, supporting 10W charging. The unit runs FunTouch OS 11.1-based on Android 11 out of the box. The device measures 163.96 x 75.2 x 8.28mm and 1789 grams.
Other notable features on this Vivo smartphone include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, microSD, a microUSB slot, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Vivo Y15A comes for PHP 7,999 (~$160) in the Philippines.
Besides the Y15A, the company has also released the Vivo Y15s in Indonesia. This device was previously launched in Singapore. The device carries a price tag of IDR 1,899,000 (~$134) in Indonesia. It has almost the same features as found in the Y15A. The Vivo Y15s flaunts a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display that has HD+ 720p resolution, a 20:9 larger aspect ratio display, and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It also has the same SoC – Helio P35 processor – but with only 3GB RAM.
