WhatsApp fixes the annoying bug of permanent notifications

WhatsApp beta users will now be able to delete chats and conversations again, as the notification that was blocked is already corrected in the 2.22.14.3 build.

As always keeping track of the friends of WaBetaInfo today we bring you the latest novelty that has just arrived at the most popular messaging service in the world and is already available from beta versions 2.22.14.3 for all platforms.

It is a small improvement although, in fact quite important since the latest non-stable WhatsApp builds had been reported a very annoying bug in the process of deleting chats and conversations, and that made this task practically impossible to perform.

WhatsApp is the most popular online communication platform on the planet. Not in vain, the chat deletion functionality was maintained, but as the screenshot below shows WhatsApp showed an absolutely useless notification, which was frozen at 100% and could not be removed, moved, or deleted until the application or even the device itself was restarted.

This is how the “permanent” notification was displayed, at 100% but frozen forever. The latest (and worrying) idea of the European Commission proposes scanning the bulk of your WhatsApp chats. This notification was, therefore “permanent”, getting stuck in the curtain making it difficult to clean our timeline of chats and group conversations already obsolete within WhatsApp.

Fortunately, this time the developers of Menlo park have been quick because less than a week after being reported, this bug has been corrected in a new beta version that is now available for test users making it possible that after installing it they can again delete their chats and clean their conversation lists in WhatsApp without many more complications.
