Windows 11 Initial Benchmarks Confirm Performance Improvement

Windows 11 leaked last week, and an early but fully functional version has been installed since then. Many users do the same and they dig deeper and deeper into the operating system. A user wanted to know whether and how the performance benefits.

Windows 11 leaked to the public on Tuesday last week and Microsoft has been trying with all its might to minimize the “PR disaster” and get the ISO off the net. But of course, that is basically pointless, because no DMCA complaint or warning will get the toothpaste back into the tube.

YouTuber named Ben Anonymous also grabbed Windows 11 and took a closer look at the updated operating system. However, he says that his version is not the leaked version. Above all, Ben Anonymous took a look under the hood and saw how the performance of the operating system behaves.

The results are promising but have to be correct

And his findings, if they are later confirmed in the final version, are more than promising. The title of his video alone suggests that the Windows 11 benchmarks “destroy” those of Windows 10. The YouTuber took a laptop with, among other things, an Intel Core i7-10875 CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 super graphics card.

The boot time was 13 seconds, which is three seconds faster than Windows 10. In 3DMark and Geekbench, Ben Anonymous was able to achieve significantly better values or scores in many disciplines. However, one should be careful with these findings. Because it is possible that these results were not achieved completely cleanly (everything still has to be confirmed or refuted by secondary sources).

This is what Windows Central means that the benchmarks presented in the video are inaccurate. While Windows 10 apparently used the “recommended” settings for measurements, Windows 11 used the high-performance mode. So you shouldn’t take the benchmarks shown at face value. That doesn’t mean there won’t be any improvements, however, as there are other reports that suggest improved performance.
