Xbox Game Pass: PC version free for three months for some players

Microsoft currently offers the PC Game Pass for free under certain conditions. New players have the option to get the subscription for free for three months, provided they have played certain titles. Xbox Game Pass gives access to over 100 PC games. Offer only valid for new players who have not previously purchased an Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass.

This basically excludes existing customers. All new customers who started using “Halo Infinite”, “Forza Horizon 5” or “Age of Empires 4” on their PC before February 28, 2022, are eligible for the promotion. The player must be signed in with their Microsoft account. Registrations made through console or cloud gaming services are excluded from the promotion.

Subscription automatically renews

All Microsoft account holders can check their eligibility for the offer via the official Xbox site. The free trial period can then be started. The free subscription is automatically renewed unless the subscription is canceled in advance. Although eligible new customers get a three-month subscription for free, it is necessary to enter payment details.

After the test period, a monthly fee of 9.99 euros is due. Those who meet the requirements can join for free until April 30, 2022. The PC Game Pass contains over 100 titles. In addition to “Minecraft” and “Sea of ​​Thieves”, there are also Bethesda classics available. Microsoft recently added “Life is Strange: True Colors”, “Chinatown Detective Agency”, “Lost in Random”, “Panzercorps 2” and “The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk” to the PC version of the game flat rate.
