Xiaomi Mi 11 Hands-On Video Leaked Before The Launch

A few hours before the official launch of the new Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro, a first hands-on video of the high-end smartphone is circulating online. This confirms the possible design of the upcoming flagship, which will be the first model to use the new Snapdragon 888 chip.

Xiaomi fans who can’t wait until the digital keynote on December 28th at 12:30 p.m. can already get a preview of the Mi 11 Pro. The Twitter user TechDroider has published a first, only five-second video, which should show the front and back of the Android smartphone. Visually, current cell phones differ from each other almost exclusively in the area of ​​the camera module. At this point, Xiaomi can see three sensors along with an LED flash, which apparently offers a resolution of up to 108 megapixels.

In the rumor mill, it was previously assumed that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will have a main camera with 50 megapixels and a zoom lens with 12 megapixels. Other forecast key data include up to 12GB of RAM and batteries with capacities of up to 5000 mAh. The latter should be able to be charged with up to 120 watts using fast charging methods. 

There is also talk of contemporary QHD + displays and support for high refresh rates of up to 120 Hz. A power supply unit should not be included with the top smartphones this year. The heart of the Xiaomi Mi 11 (Pro) is the already confirmed Snapdragon 888. The new high-end SoC from Qualcomm offers a total of eight computing cores with a performance of up to 2.84 GHz. Among other things, the focus is on a single “Super Core”, which will be using the ARM Cortex-X1 architecture for the first time and will ensure high performance. Compared to the predecessor Snapdragon 865, the octa-core team should achieve a performance increase of up to 25 percent (CPU) or 35 percent (GPU). However, the first practical tests remain to be seen.
