Xiaomi MIX Flip could be the company’s first flip smartphone

According to some fresh pieces of information, Xiaomi is all set to debut its first flip phone. It might join the MIX Fold with the Mix Flip moniker. It was recently spotted on IMEI, so possibly the company could use the Mix as part of the official branding of its first flip smartphone.

Recently, a smartphone with the model number ‘2311BPN23C’ was spotted on IMEI. Well, we know this is not sufficient as supporting evidence, and we have to wait until next year until we come across something official. Anyway, the Xiaomi MIX Fold might be in the works.

Previously, some rumors suggested that the flip smartphone might be released along with the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 in 2024. Well, if this is the case, then it is a long wait since the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 arrived just last month. Furthermore, there is a slight possibility that these rumors might be wrong, and the company unveiled the Flip smartphone earlier than that. Besides this, we have no clue about the design and appearance of the device, despite the fact that several designs have previously surfaced on the internet.

A few months ago its design was tipped

A few months ago, a design was shared by GSM China. The design showcases a device with three back cameras located on the top and a cover display beneath it. The main display houses a central display camera hole on the top. As with every other clamshell-folding phone so far, the phone naturally folds right down the middle.

Well, if it comes alongside the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 next year, chances are that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Unless Xiaomi decides to give this phone a lower performance boost than its “Fold” sibling. Xiaomi has not released any of its foldable smartphones outside China. It might alter the course of its strategy with the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 and the MIX Flip.
