For this reason, the company is going to offer an active experience with an interactive and revamped interface.
The new update for the mobile Home feed and Search experience is as follows:
- Preview on the home screen for Music, Shows, Podcasts, and Audiobooks: just tap on the type of feed you’re interested in. You will be presented with a visual and audio preview of albums, podcasts, music, and shows. You can save or share them. Furthermore, you can explore the artist or podcast pages in detail. In the end, you may play from the beginning or continue listening from where the preview ended.
- New feeds in Search: scroll up and down to explore the short clips from tracks as per your favorite genres. Use the up/down arrows to scroll among brief Canvas snippets from songs in some of your favorite genres. After that, you can conveniently follow the artist, add the music to a playlist, or share it with friends—all from one location. Using the hashtags in the feed, you may also browse related genres to find new favorites quickly.
After previewing content with the new design, you have three options:
- Save, download, or share with just one tap
- Play from the start
- Dive even deeper
