Galaxy A34 5G Gets Stable Android 14 Update Based On One UI 6.0

Samsung has recently announced the release of the stable Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy A34 5G. This update follows the One UI 6.0 beta version that was made available to the mid-range smartphone in select countries a few weeks earlier. Users who participated in the beta program in the UK are now receiving the stable Android 14 update.

The Galaxy A34 5G is not the only device receiving this update; several other Samsung smartphones, including the Galaxy A54, Galaxy A73, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23, and Galaxy Z Flip 5/Fold 5, have also started receiving the stable Android 14 update.

For the Galaxy A34 One UI 6.0 beta testers in the UK, the stable Android 14 update is rolling out with the firmware version A346BXXU4BWK2. Currently, this update is exclusive to One UI 6.0 beta testers in the UK, but it is expected to be available to more users and in additional countries in the coming days. The update also includes the November 2023 security patch, addressing several software vulnerabilities.

Users in the UK who participated in the Galaxy A34’s One UI 6.0 Beta Program can check for the stable update by going to Settings>>Software update>>Download and Install. It is anticipated that all Galaxy A34 users currently on One UI 5.1 will receive the stable Android 14 update in the next few weeks. Once the new firmware is available in the database, users will have the option to manually flash it onto their Galaxy A34.

The One UI 6.0 update, based on Android 14, introduces several new features to the Galaxy A34. These include a redesigned Quick Panel layout, updated notifications design, a new media player widget with waveform animations, and completely new emojis.

Samsung has also enhanced all its stock apps, including the camera app, which now features simpler controls. Additionally, the lock screen clock widget has been updated with more options for font, size, and placement.
