Apple will open its new stores in these locations

Apple Store closed

According to some recent pieces of information, Apple is all set to open its new retail stores. Reportedly, the company is going to open three retail stores in the metropolitan areas of Los Angeles, Toronto, and Atlanta. The information comes from the building permits examined by MacRumors. Reportedly, the company filed a building permit with California in October.

According to details, the new store will be opened at the Del Amo Fashion Center shopping mall in Torrance, California. In Los Angeles County, Torrance is situated in the South Bay area. According to the permits, Apple will be situated between Madewell and Lululemon on the mall’s main level. The store will occupy the combined area of two adjacent spaces that were formerly used by Chico’s and J. Crew.

The information about the new retail stores was first unveiled by Mark Gurman in June. He got the information from the company’s internal roadmap for retail expansion. According to the schedule, the company is set to open the new store in March 2024; however, it can be subjected to changes given the circumstances associated with construction, hiring, and others.

Additionally, Apple is proceeding with its plans to move its store to the Square One mall in Mississauga, Ontario, which is located west of Toronto, Canada. A June building permit submitted to the city states that Apple will be reoccupying a space above the food court on the mall’s second floor that was formerly owned by Massimo Dutti.

In a nutshell, a building permit that was submitted to Gwinnett County in May verifies Apple’s intentions to move its store to the Mall of Georgia in Buford, which is northeast of Atlanta. The permission does not specify a specific site, but the new store will stay in the mall. According to the company’s plan, the new Square One and Mall of Georgia stores were set to open by the end of this year. However, they are taking longer than expected.

In addition to this, we learned that the company’s Infinite Loop store in Cupertino, California, is going to be permanently closed from January 20 onward. On the same day, the company is going to close its Royal Hawaiian store in Honolulu. Apple stated that all impacted workers at both sites will have the chance to stay on as employees of the company.
