Xbox Game Pass Adds Warcraft Trilogy, CoD: WWII, and More in June 2025

Microsoft significantly expands the Xbox Game Pass offer in June. In addition to the Warcraft Remastered trilogy and Call of Duty: WWII, exciting new releases and day-one releases such as FBC: Firebreak and Rematch are also coming into the game flat rate.
Remedy ventures into new realms
A special game pass highlight is FBC: Firebreak, which marks a significant change in genre for Remedy Entertainment. The Finnish studio, which has made a name for itself with atmospheric single player experiences such as Alan Wake and Control, enters new territory with this co-op shooter. The game is located in the same universe as Control and uses the mysterious world of the Federal Bureau of Control as a scene for cooperative action. FBC: Firebreak is already available as a day-one release and can be played via Game Pass Ultimate on cloud, PC and Xbox Series X | s and via PC Game Pass.

Warcraft returns to the game passport
A real classic will follow on June 26: The complete Warcraft Remastered Trilogy finds its way into the subscription service. This collection includes Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness and Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos – all milestones of the strategy game that have shaped the genre sustainably. The original Warcraft games laid the foundation for Blizzard’s most successful franchise and ultimately led to the development of World of Warcraft. Warcraft III in particular is considered a pioneer for the MOBA genre, since one of his modifications emerged from the later independent Defense of the Ancients (Dota).
Call of Duty strengthens the Xbox Game Pass
Call of Duty: Wwii, which will be included in the Game Pass on June 30th, is concluded with the Juni LineeUp. The title published in 2017 marked a return of the series to its historical roots after years of futuristic settings. The campaign leads players through various locations of the Second World War and was praised for their emotional depth and authentic representation.
The integration of Call of Duty: WWII continues the gradual integration of Activision blizzard games into the Game Pass after Microsoft has completed the takeover of the publisher. This should only be the beginning of a larger wave of Activision blizzard title in service.
Sporty innovation with a rematch
Another interesting newcomer is a rematch that will be released on June 19. The football game comes from Sloclap, the French developer studio behind the celebrated fighting game Sifu. Rematch deliberately relies on an arcade approach instead of simulation and focuses on fast 5-to-5 matches. Rematch Reveal Trailer | The Game Awards 2024
The special thing about Rematch: Players only control one of their team players while the AI takes over the remaining team members. Traditional football rules such as offside, fouls and game interruptions are completely dispensed with to ensure a liquid flow flow. This design decision clearly distinguishes Rematch from established football simulations such as FIFA or Efootball.
Game Pass exits at the end of the month
Like Microsoft too announced however, subscribers to the Xbox Game Pass also have to say goodbye to some games. On June 30th, Arcade Paradise, Journey to the Savage Planet, My Friend Peppa Pig, Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders and the two Steamworld Dig titles leave the service. These regular rotations are part of the concept and create space for new content.
