A rumor suggests that Samsung’s next-gen foldable will feature bigger displays

In contrast to its predecessors, the recent foldable by Samsung features significant upgrades and modifications. The next series of foldables will debut at some point in H2 2024. However, we have come across an interesting rumor regarding the Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants provided the data, and he is a trustworthy and accurate source.

According to details, the company will increase the display sizes of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. The internal and external screens of both smartphones could be expanded, according to Ross Young. The upcoming clamshell folding phone’s cover screen will be 3.9 inches in diameter, 0.5 inches larger than the Z Flip 5’s 3.4 inches. Ever since the original Galaxy Z Flip had a 1.1-inch display, the South Korean company has been constantly increasing the size of the cover screen.

There are no accurate details about the internal and external display sizes of the next-generation foldables. However, they will feature big displays. The Fold 6 features a 6.2-inch internal screen and a 7.6-inch exterior screen, for those who are not informed. The Z Flip 6 has a 6.7-inch primary display, in contrast.

In addition to this, some reports claim that the company might also reduce the thickness of the foldables as well. Another report claims that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 might debut with a 50MP primary camera unit. If Young’s most recent information is accurate, there could be significant changes to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in 2024.
