Apple iOS 15.2 Is Almost Ready To Be Released

iOS 15.2

Apple has released another pre-release version for iOS 15.2. The beta test is nearing its end – according to current information, this is a serious release candidate, so the final release could take place in the coming days.

After only four beta rounds, Apple is now on the home straight for the completion of iOS 15.2. With the release of the fifth beta for developers, it looks like Apple has completed development and has also been able to fix all known bugs. The update should now also start shortly for the public test program, but was not yet available when the article was published.

Little is known about the changes since the last beta version, but nothing else is likely to have been changed apart from bug fixes. The new features of iOS 15.2 include the new app data protection report, the recognition of different voices (different users) for the HomePod, and a lot more.

Take part in the beta program? Here is how

The new update is now available as an update. Registered users simply get the new version as an over-the-air update. Those who have not yet registered for the beta program can do so and join the beta phase. Participation is free and requires a one-time registration for the program at https://beta.apple.com/sp/en/betaprogram from the correspondingly supported device. The Apple ID is required for this.

Once you have registered, you will automatically receive new beta versions as with any other update. However, one should keep in mind that, as with any beta version, unforeseen problems could arise. Apple, therefore, warns with each new round of the beta test that it is better not to use your productive iPhone, but rather a second device for the tests.
