Apple Named iPhone XS and XS plus to the new iPhones ditched pencil support
We had several leaks about new iPhone models, we called them iPhone X Plus 6.5-inch and iPhone X Plus 6.1-inch we also had iPhone X Plus released date which is expected to be September 12.
But Apple has confirmed the naming scheme of the new premium models which would be iPhone XS as reported by Mark Gurman on Bloomberg. Apple has considered an S release again in a while, Apple is focused on upgrading the iPhone X design with more processing speed and camera performance.
Apple is also expected to launch triple cameras and smaller notches on the iPhones for the next year model upgrades.
iPhone XS would be more similar to iPhone X in terms of design but there are several changes internally including the software and hardware. iPhone XS would support iPad like software such as horizontal support for some apps, and A12 processor using 7nm processing model to improve battery life and performance.
Dual Sim Tray
Apple confirms the dual-sim tray in both iPhone XS and XS plus 6.5-inch and 6.1-inch via Bloomberg report, it would only be offered in some specific markets like China, India and some others.
Apple Pencil support
In some reports earlier, it was rumored that Apple is going to add Apple Pencil support in the new iPhone models but now Apple confirms that it is not going to add pencil support as it hurts the user experience.
In the image below you can see the full specifications of iPhone models that are almost confirmed, iPhone XS plus will have a larger battery than the iPhone XS typically. The new line of iPhones is also expected to come in 5 color ranges including Red, Blue, Grey, White, and Orange color. However, 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch models will come in 3 colors including white, silver, and gold.
