BOE has made the OnePlus 12 display official

OnePlus 10 Series

According to some pieces of information, the company OnePlus has officially unveiled the details about the display of the upcoming OnePlus 12. Notably, the company shared the details on its official Weibo page.

BOE recently announced the details of the OnePlus 12 display

Previously, some rumors suggested that the OnePlus 12 would feature the BOE X1 OLED display. It has been known as the company’s best 2K display until now. It seems like the information was correct, except for one thing that was related to its brightness. Notably, the BOE X1 display will feature 2,600 nits of peak brightness instead of the rumored 3,000 nits. It is the same brightness level that comes with the OPPO Find X6 Pro. On the other hand, the OnePlus Open comes with 2,800 nits of peak brightness. Both the OPPO Find X6 Pro and OnePlus Open feature immensely bright displays.

BOE X1 includes DisplayMate A+ rating

The display panel is basically an LPTO panel that will support an adaptive refresh rate. Based on current flagship products, we believe the phone will have a refresh rate of between 1 and 120 Hz. It even includes DisplayMate’s A+ rating. It means that the display will be quite color-accurate.

The OnePlus 12 is expected to arrive by the end of this year or in January 2024. This year, the OnePlus 11 debuted in China on January 4. However, the launch into the global market took some time. There are no details about the global launch of the OnePlus 12. Who knows, maybe the corporation will decide to simultaneously launch the smartphone globally. It would undoubtedly be preferable to do it that way.
