Is not it great if you don’t get to view the YouTube Shorts and Livestreams under the Videos tab on your channel?

Yeah, for sure. Because less crowding of content on the Channel will enable the subscribers to enjoy the type of videos they prefer.

Recently YouTube rolled out the refurbished UI. It was provided with a more ambient and classy mode with added dynamic colors. Additionally, the darken black theme, an upgraded playlist UI, as well as lively colors that span the videos and the app background were also part of recent updates.

Now, the social media platform YouTube is planning to add another UI. This update will remove the YouTube Shorts from the Videos section of the respective Channel pages. According to some sources, this new UI update is the need of the hour.

A report by 9to5Google confirms that the Channel page layout has been updated and is available to users. Furthermore, it adds tabs that specify YouTube Shorts as well as Livestreams. Thus, indicating that the new UI will no more crowd the content on anyone’s Channel. Rather it will allow the users to conveniently sort out the type of content they wish to view.

The company said in a recent update on the YouTube Help forum, in accordance with the feedback of consumers, we have separated the tabs for Shorts, Livestreams, and long-form videos on each channel respectively. This decision was based on viewers’ choice and ultimately help them discover the kind of content they were interested in while exploring any channel.

The updated Channel Page layout has started rolling out. In the coming weeks, it will be available to more users. as soon as the update appears on your smartphone, you will notice the following tabs on your Channel pages: Home, Videos, Shorts, Live, Playlists, Community, and Channels. Furthermore, filters like Recently uploaded and popular will screen out the content. Thus, narrowing down your search.
