Extraction 2 Netflix Full Action Movie Released a New Trailer

Tyler Rake is back: while the Chris Hemsworth-played mercenary barely survived his first Netflix film, he’s far from calming down in the sequel. Rather the opposite is likely to be the case, as the first official trailer for the potential action hit shows.

Back from the dead

Tyler Rake: Extraction 2 follows on from the spectacular ending of 2020’s first film. The Australian mercenary Tyler Rake gets his next, but no less deadly job here, and again it’s about a highly dangerous rescue operation. This time he is tasked with rescuing the family of a Georgian gangster from prison.

However, the film also seems to take place in many other locations, as the trailer that has now been released shows. For example, we see how Rake single-handedly eliminates several enemies on a train and in the freezing cold or hangs one-handed on the glass roof of a skyscraper. Action fans should probably get their money’s worth again.

Tyler Rake: Extraction 2 is directed by director Sam Hargrave and written by action specialist Joe Russo, with the character Tyler based on Andre Parks’ “Ciudad.” Alongside Thor star Chris Hemsworth, Golshifteh Farahani reprises her role as mercenary Nik Khan, which she played in the first film.

Adam Bessa, Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt, and Tinatin Dalakishvili also play other roles this time. Tyler Rake: Extraction 2 launches worldwide and exclusively on Netflix on June 16, 2023.
