Google Keep receives updated notes feed on Samsung Galaxy Smartwatches

A treat is waiting for Wear OS-3 powered Samsung Galaxy Watch and other Wear OS 3 smartwatches. Because Google is all set to roll out the renewed notes feed for the Google Keep app. Quite recently, Google Keep selected three new tiles for sunset, sunrise, and favorite contacts. Furthermore, the Material You redesign was introduced for the app background in September.

Given the latest update, a rich experience will be added to the notes feed. You can install the latest version of the Google Keep app on your Wear OS 3 smartwatch. After installing one of the first things that you will eventually notice is the background color or preset image. Google Keep will show a reflection of the image set in the phone app. This indicates that the boring grey color won’t display any longer in the app.

In addition to this, the card’s color reflects the background image preselected in the phone app. You could observe if anything was edited. Furthermore, the collaborations and labels added to the notes appear at the bottom. These appear just before the Add reminder, Pin, and Archive actions.

Well, that is not all. The Google Keep app for Wear OS 3 has also received an upgraded text preview feature. Users will now be presented with three to four lines compared to the two lines that showed previously. Thus, enabling the users to read a slightly larger section of the notes. Owing to this feature, users will be required to scroll down in order to view more notes.

The latest updated Google Keep notes feed feature is rolling out with version 5.22.482.00.97 given the Wear OS 3 smartwatches. It also includes the Samsung Galaxy Watches. Moreover, currently, the update is not making its appearance on a large scale. Another thing to notice here is that the images are broken with this release. They are not previewed in the main feed. We are hopeful that Google addresses this issue before the massive rollout.
