Huawei Mate Pad Pro Seems Similar To Apple iPad Pro With Punch Hole Design

Huawei has been working on Mate Pad Pro for some time now, the fresh device leaks suggests that Huawei Mate Pad Pro seems similar to Apple iPad Pro.

The new render leaks by Evan Blass confirms Huawei Mate Pad Pro design which is almost similar to Apple iPad Pro, the only difference seems to be a punch-hole camera which resides in the top left corner of the screen in Mate Pad Pro while the camera in Apple iPad Pro is within the bezels.

The new Mate Pad Pro the name suggested by @evleaks is the upgraded model of the previous Huawei MediaPad M5 Pro and MediaPad M6, however, 91 Mobiles classed it MediaPad M7, the design and specifications are the same but there is a little confusion in the name of the device.

The company is working on the tablet under the code name Marx, the device supports M-Pen Stylus and the magnetic keyboard. As the device is the successor of MediaPad M6 so it can safely be called M7 but changing the name to Mate Pad also seems possible as the word “Mate” conventionally more compatible with Huawei as compared to Media.

The design shows that the company has made thinner bezels and eliminated the fingerprint; it also suggests that the fingerprint would be sitting in-display this time. At the back, the dual-camera module has been used with LED flash and the device will support USB Type-C port. The port will have speaker grills on both sides as well. Moreover, it is expected that MatePad Pro will come with Kirin 990 SoC, up to 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, and a large battery.
