Huawei Nova 8 Series Started Teasers Releasing On December 23

Nova 8 Series

On the morning of December 14, Huawei officially released on Weibo to warm up the new generation of Huawei nova8 series phones. This time, the Slogan played by Huawei nova 8 Series is “I am in the hands of me“, which shows that this new phone will focus on video shooting capabilities.

From the official posters released by Huawei, the back design of the new nova8 series is not the same as the current mainstream models. Its camera module uses an oval design rather than a square. In addition, Huawei officially did not announce more news. However, some sources said that Huawei’s nova8 is still using HiSilicon Kirin chips this time, and some bloggers even said that nova8 will use a flagship SoC like Kirin 9000. In fact, the nova series has always been positioned in the mid-range of Huawei’s product line, so I personally think that it is unlikely that nova8 will use Kirin 9000. In terms of price, Huawei nova8 is expected to start at around 3,000 yuan roughly $460, while the higher-end Huawei nova8 Pro may start at 4,000 yuan roughly $600. In recent times, Chinese brands have paid more and more attention to video shooting.

Previously OPPO has been pushing video image stabilization, in recent Reno5 also introduced a new series of portraits video capture technology; rather Vivo also broke will be released today equipped with micro-cloud station technology X60 series, which is essentially also the service For video shooting. For a long time in the past, Chinese mobile phone manufacturers have been trying hard to catch up with the iPhone’s camera capabilities. To date, many manufacturers have surpassed the iPhone in terms of absolute picture quality.

But in the field of video shooting, the Android camp still has a lot of work to do, and in the context of the video era, this problem is particularly prominent. Therefore, the centralized upgrade of the video shooting function of mobile phones that we have seen in the recent period can be said to be an insight into user needs and another challenge to the existing advantages of the iPhone.
