Here Apple combines hardware and software so efficiently that the iPhone 17 Pro Max best divided its energy. Especially with the intensive snapchat test, where the camera, GPS, WLAN and display are used at the same time, the iPhone kept cool head, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL slipped into the single-digit percentage range much earlier.

The iPhone thus exceeds the Galaxy S25 Ultra by an hour and 15 minutes and the Pixel 10 Pro XL even over two hours. Particularly noteworthy: Despite the greatest battery capacity in the test field, Google’s Pixel is the worst – an indication that hardware alone does not decide, but the coordination between the processor, display and software.
