Lenovo Announces New Detachable IdeaPad Duet Chromebook

During the CES 2020 conference, Lenovo has announced a new laptop which is a detachable IdeaPad Duet Chromebook, the device is a notebook cum tablet with great specifications and modern design.

According to Lenovo, the new IdeaPad is unlike the other budget Chromebooks, however, the device carries low-end specifications but great design. The devices look like a 10.1-inches FHD+ tablet, the body is not made out of cheap plastic, it comes with the dual-tone aluminum build along with blue and gray finish.

The box also includes detachable keyboard accessory having kickstand, the device also allows stylus inputs when used separately.

Internal Specifications

The new Lenovo IdeaPad Duet Chromebook is powered by MediaTek Helio P60T Octa-core processor which clocks at 2GHz. The book comes with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of eMMC internal storage.

However, there is only one USB port which is Type-C, the device has dual speakers paired with dual-array microphones. The notebook features 8MP rear camera with AF and 2MP front camera with FF. The battery capacity is 7,180mAh which delivers 10 hours of usage according to the company statement. The new Laptop cum Tablet is priced at $279.99 for the base model, the device would be made available for purchase from May 2020.
