Lenovo Tab Extreme VS Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra: An overview
Leading tech brands are in a competition of introducing devices and products with amazing features. previously Samsung introduced a tablet having a massive 14.6-inch screen. It was considered to be the largest tablet in the market having Android OS. It was released in February 2022. Since then the device had no competitor. But this is not the case now. Since Lenovo introduced its Tab Extreme at CES 2023 event. Reportedly, the new product by Lenovo is presented with a big 14.5-inch screen.
Well, we can compare the two products and the difference in display size is quite obvious. It is just 0.1 inches bigger compared to the Samsung tablet. Besides the display screen, the Tab Extreme by Lenovo utilizes OLED tech. It offers a 3,000 x 1,876 pixels resolution. In addition to this, the Tab Extreme is presented with support for HDR10+. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz. Thus, it suggests that besides the display, the features presented on Lenovo Tab are almost identical to the ones presented on Tab S8 Ultra.
The device is powered by MediaTek DImensity 9000 SoC. We can consider this chipset to be similar in its performance to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset that fuels the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Given the storage, users have the options for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It comes with Android 13. The device will be presented with three new OS versions via software updates. Furthermore, security updates will be rolled out for four years.
Furthermore, if we delve deeper into the feature specifications of Lenovo Tab Extreme, it is not as awesome as Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Speaking of the camera setup, Lenovo Tab has a 13MP primary camera at the back. It is accompanied by a 5MP ultra-wide sensor. In addition to this, the front display is equipped with a 13MP unit. It comes with an RGB sensor and ultra-wide FoV.
Coming towards the speakers, the Tab S8 Ultra is provided with four speakers. However, the tablet by Lenovo comes with eight speakers. It features JBL speakers having support for Dolby Atmos. It is accompanied by a 12,300mAh battery. It can support 68W fast charging. It is provided with several connectivity options like a microSD card slot, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1 port, Wi-Fi 6E, USB Type-C 2.0 port, and Bluetooth 5.3. Do not that the company has not introduced any LTE model for the product.
Like the Tab S8 Ultra, Lenovo Tab comes with a stylus. It is termed Lenovo Precision Pen 3 by the company. It is expected to be introduced at some point in 2023. It will be available for $1200.
