OnePlus Ace 2 will be introduced with a power management chip for the 5,000 mAh battery

OnePlus is all set to introduce the Ace 2 in China. It is reported that at some point next week, the company will officially launch the OnePlus Ace 2. The upcoming device is considered to be a mirror image of the OnePlus 11R. As of today, some more information has been shared by the company regarding the forthcoming smartphone.

As per this information, the upcoming smartphone is fueled with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The recent information was conveyed via several posts by the company on Weibo. Besides other features, the company announced that the upcoming smartphone will feature an OPPO SuperVOOC S power management chip. In addition to this, it will accompany a custom display chip. The custom display chip will help improve the image rendering as well as the refresh rate. In this way, some of the workloads will be reduced from the Qualcomm SoC. It is speculated that the Ace 2 will accompany a 5,000 mAh battery and 100W fast charging.

The company is marketing the future product as a “three-chip powerhouse.” Reportedly, it will have longer battery life, premium performance, and excellent graphics. Users could enjoy longer battery life. According to the company, the battery will last 1,600 full charges and discharges. Where it will retain almost 80% of its capacity. Such figures depict that it should be enough for a timespan of four years of use, states the company.

Well, if we compare the two smartphones i.e., Ace 2 and 11R, then it is evident that the major difference lies in the UI. For the Chinese community, it will be introduced with ColorOS 13. On the other hand, the global variant will be introduced with OxygenOS. The smartphones appear quite similar to OnePlus 11. The only distinction is the Hasselblad branding on the back. It points out toward a downgraded camera setup.
