Sprint is Now Rolling Out the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 Update to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6

Sprint’s Galaxy Tab S6 now receiving the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update in the US.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is getting the new Android 11 based One UI 3.1 update. The same tablet previously received an update in March. The update was rolled out by Verizon, and this one is coming from Sprint.

This update will push some performance improvements and a new visual design with more consistent UI element sizes and better placement. Moreover, Bixby Routines also improved, and now it comes with better lock screen widgets, and Digital Wellbeing has separate personal and work profiles.

Since Sprint’s Galaxy Tab S6 is now being updated to Android 11-based One UI 3.1, users can now access an improved Samsung Keyboard with added emoji and sticker suggestions and a total of 370 input languages.

The tablet also got better photography options with improved auto-focus and auto-exposure. On the other hand, edited pictures can now return to their original versions at any time.

‘My Files’ also got an update with an option to delete cache files. In addition, users can now use the same app to select cloud drive files.

We also heard that devices and media buttons were added to the notification panel, and “Wi-Fi direct can no longer be used to send files to other devices, but instead, this functionality is available through Nearby Share.”

This update will also improve the device;s security since it has the May 2021 security patch.

Users having Sprint Galaxy Tab S6 could see the update from the Settings app on the tablet. It has firmware version T867USQU4CUE1.
