Samsung introduces 4TB version of T7 Shield SSD

Back in 2022, the South Korean tech firm introduced the T7 Shield SSD. It was initially released with storage capacities of 1TB and 2 TB. Recently, the tech firm has come up with another major update to the T7 Shield SSD. According to this new update, the T7 Shield SSD will now be available with a 4TB storage capacity.

Currently, the $TB T7 Shield SSD will be available in Germany. As of now, it is presented with three distinct storage options. They are 1TB, 2TB, and 4 TB. The 1TB version is available for EUR 139.40, whereas the 2TB version is available for EUR 219.90. however, the 4TB version will be available for a price of EUR 429.90. we know that 1TB and 2TB versions are already available in the market. The latest version 4TB will be available from January 17, 2023, onwards.

What is the T7 Shield SSD?

The T7 Shield by Samsung is approximately the size of a credit card. It is a portable SSD. It has a rugged design. In addition to this, the SSD is IP65-certified for protection against dust and water. Furthermore, it can bear falls of up to 3 meters. It is a PCIe NVMe SSD. It consists of a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port. It has reading and writing speeds of around 1,050Mbps and 1,000Mbps, respectively. Moreover, it doesn’t have a fingerprint reader. However, it is capable of protecting the data by using password-based protection. It has support for various operating systems like Android, macOS, and Windows. It is available in three different color options i.e., Black, Blue, and Beige.
