Samsung introduces the updated version of The Freestyle Projector at CES 2023

In 2022, the tech firm Samsung introduced the Freestyle Projector at the CES. This product was unique because of its circular design and its capacity to project on surfaces like tables, walls, and ceilings. Moreover, the device was based on Tizen OS which added to the popularity of the device among the audiences.

However, some critics argued that the tech firm was not fair with the price and the product offering of the freestyle portable projector. As of now, Samsung is all set to present an upgraded version of The Freestyle Projector at CES 2023.

The new update to the product includes design as well as other improvements. In contrast to the previous can-like design, a tower-like design has opted for the upgraded version. According to the tech company Samsung, this design will more easily blend into the environment of the room. Furthermore, it has various internal hardware modifications as well.

The product consists of three lasers. This is compatible with other ultra-short-throw projectors.  Moreover, the product has received new tech for Edge Blending. This tech will enable the users to utilize this tech with two Freestyle 2023 Projectors. The two projectors will then project concurrently and provide an ultrawide projection. Such a feature doesn’t require manual adjustments and placements for aligning the two pictures.

The latest and updated version of The Freestyle Projector is based on Samsung Tizen TV OS. The apps can be accessed via touching or by gestures. Additionally, the device has support for the Samsung Gaming Hub. It indicates that users can use the Freestyle Projector to play games through PCs, gaming consoles, or cloud gaming services like Nvidia GeForce Now, Amazon Luna, and Utomik. Besides these features, the projector also features SmartThings and Samsung Health.

Apart from these features, the Freestyle Projector also supports autofocus, auto keystone, and other such features. as of now, no news about the pricing and availability of the product has been shared. However, in 2022, the original version was priced at $899. We can expect a somewhat similar price tag.
