Samsung unpack event date revealed on the official website: Galaxy S22

The official website of the Samsung electronics confirms the date of the first unpacked event in 2022 and thus the time of the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S22. The last questions about the new smartphones should be answered on February 9 at 4 p.m. In his latest speech, smartphone boss Dr. TM Roh announced the unveiling of new Samsung hardware in February, but didn’t give an exact date. This is now provided involuntarily. Techinsider’s leakers have found disabled links to calendar items in the code of the official website, announcing the unpacked event themed “Get Ready to Break the Rules” for February 9, 2022 at 4 p.m. GMT.

From February 25th available globally

Experts assume that in addition to the three planned smartphone models Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra, Samsung will also present its new Android tablet Galaxy Tab S8, the technical data of which has already been leaked. The flagships are also expected to be available for pre-order as early as February 14, 2022.

Expected worldwide availability is February 25, 2022. It remains to be seen whether all models will adhere to this schedule. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, in particular, is likely to serve as the company’s flagship this year, which would be even closer to the previous Note series in terms of features. According to TM Roh, the focus is also on the new Exynos 2200 chip with AMD graphics and the South Korean camera solutions.
