Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 AnTuTu score is better than its predecessor
Just a few days ago Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 was introduced. As of now, we have come across the AnTuTu score of the latest SoC. The latest information comes from the tipster Abhishek Yadav. The scores of the latest SoC were compared to their predecessor.
As per the update from the tipster, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 gained almost 1,000,000 points. On the other hand, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 gained 600,000 scores on AnTuTu. Whereas the Snapdragon 778G scored 555,000 points. The scores indicate that the difference between the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 is quite huge in contrast to the score difference between the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 778G.
Well, it kind of explains why Qualcomm could have adopted Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 name for this chipset instead of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 name. the processor of this chipset is provided with a 1+3+4 architecture. The chipset is built on a 4nm processor. It is based on a Kryo CPU which provides an improvement of 50% in performance. Similarly, the Adreno GPU provides a performance boost as well.
Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is also power efficient
According to Qualcomm, the latest chipset is quite a power efficient. Reportedly, it offers a 13% improvement in performance in contrast to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. It includes the Auto Variable Rate Shading (VRS). It consists of an improved Qualcomm AI Engine that provides two times better AI performance. Additionally, it comes with an 18-bit Triple ISP.
Furthermore, Qualcomm has provided the Snapdragon X62 5G modem, Bluetooth 5.3 support, support for LPDDR5 RAM (3,200MHz), and Quick Charge 5 technology. Besides this, it has support for displays up to QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
