Paint

Microsoft would like to equip its new Windows 11 operating system with numerous innovations as well already covered various new features and. This also includes an extensive redesign that is to be donated to the paint program Paint. A stock photo showing the application in a revised look has now appeared.

The picture was uploaded to Unsplash by Microsoft itself. Although the photo has been available for weeks, it was only recently discovered by FireCube. The picture shows a Windows tablet with the new Paint application open. The appearance of the taskbar indicates that Windows 11 is running on the device. The title bar confirms that it is indeed Paint.

Symbols Redesigned

The stock photo gives a first glimpse of the new interface of the painting program. The various menu elements have been designed in a much more modern way. So all symbols that represent the tools, shapes, and colors have been exchanged. The resolution of the icons has been increased so that the design is no longer reminiscent of the times of bygone Windows systems. The colors are no longer displayed with squares, but with round shapes.

At the moment, the new Paint app is not yet included in the preview versions of Windows 11. As the operating system is nearing completion, the Redmond company should implement the new features in the coming months. The RTM version should appear within the next eight weeks. However, an official schedule has not been published.
