As per news from 9to5Google, some changes regarding the UI in the app were spotted by French outlet GHome France. This latest update allows you to control every little device you have in your home, including curtains, window shutters, garage doors, mowers, heaters, and humidifiers or diffusers. In the old update, these devices were only available under the device tab with no adjustment options.

A prominent change can be noticed in this app: a slider that allows you to adjust the level at which the curtains will be opened. It also contains two buttons for turning the shutters on and off, along with level controls. There are also new buttons available for heaters with adjustable modes, and lastly, different levels (auto, high, low, and medium) are introduced for diffusers as well.

Along with these updates, there are also some easier-to-control options added for other home appliances, like ovens. Not just ovens, you are also able to switch modes between your Whirlpool W9 and cooking range by turning them on or off with just a single tap. All these settings can work with other apps that are matter compatible or are working in collaboration with Google Assistant.

All these changes are followed up with the extension of live camera previews to other security cameras, including Wyze and Reolink. All of these home improvements mark the efforts of the platform to address many complications regarding complicated setups and perplexing integrations. With the app now supporting matter, we can hope for many other home appliances to be added to this list soon.
