Galaxy A27: Samsung leaks its new smartphone for everyone
Samsung is currently preparing to launch its new low-end Galaxy A27 smartphone. Over the weekend, a listing for the device was unintentionally published on the official Samsung website, revealing all the details.

The Samsung Galaxy A27 is the successor to one of the Korean manufacturer’s best-selling smartphones. However, due to the storage crisis, prices are rising sharply, meaning you will probably have to pay at least 360 euros for the new model in Germany. According to him, the customer now gets loud in return Dotekomania.cz according to the already deleted listing of the device on the Czech Samsung website, it is a reasonably well-equipped mid-range smartphone that offers a 6.7-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hertz and a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The display cover is made of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.
The most significant change in the Galaxy A27 compared to the previous model takes place under the hood. Instead of Samsung’s own Exynos SoC, there is now the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, which reaches up to 2.4 GHz with its four high-end cores, while the power-saving cores reach a maximum of 1.8 GHz. Essentially, Samsung is “passing down” the chip from the more expensive predecessor model, the Galaxy A36. The advantage: more performance in the lower device.
Camera unchanged with weak additional sensors
The cameras on the Galaxy A27 remain unchanged. There is again a main sensor with 50 megapixels and an optical image stabilizer in hardware, an ultra-wide-angle camera with a meager five megapixel resolution and a completely useless “macro camera” with two megapixels. The front camera offers at least 12 megapixels, so self-portraits should work quite well.
Nothing happens with the RAM, so depending on the variant, six to eight gigabytes of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal flash memory are integrated. There is no provision for expanding the memory using a MicroSD card slot. The 5000mAh battery can be quickly charged with up to 25 watts using a compatible Samsung power supply. The Galaxy A27 is IP64 certified, which means it is dustproof and can easily withstand rain, but not submersion in water. With a height of 7.8 millimeters and a weight of 200 grams, the device is at the usual level for this size. The operating system here is Android 16 in conjunction with OneUI 8.5. Four colors are planned: black, blue, light green and pink. The base price of the A27 is 349 euros, while the official recommended price for the version with more memory is 439 euros. Compared to the previous model, the price increases by 50 or even 70 euros.
