It is now in the rumor mill that Google is going to use an older processor in the upcoming Pixel watch which is confirmed to appear on October 6. Google unveiled the all-new Pixel 7 Series and Pixel Watch during the event Google I/O 2022 logged on earlier this year.
People have now raised their eyebrows that how could Google use the older processor in the upcoming watch and keep the price more than Galaxy Watch which uses the latest technology.
According to a retailer as reported by 9to5Google, the Bluetooth/Wifi model of the Google Pixel Watch is going to start from $349.99. The retailer source also unveiled the information on available colors for pixel watches. The base model comes in three color variants. While the Pixel Watch LTE model also comes in 3 different color options.
Google Pixel Watch Carries Hefty Price Tag Despite Having Old 2018 Processor
Well, that is the story, Google is not willing to keep the price down, surprisingly, the cost is more than Galaxy Watch 5 which comes with more features and the latest technology as compared to Pixel Watch. Galaxy Watch 5 40mm model only costs $279 and the 44mm variant costs $309.
Moreover, Galaxy Watch 5 offers a sapphire display, long battery life of multiple days, and carries Wear OS 3 under the hood. Google has not yet officially confirmed that it will throw an older 2018 processor in the upcoming Pixel Watch but the rumor mill has already shouted it out loud.
