Samsung assures that by Q1 2023 the Odyssey Neo G7 will be available in most parts of the world

Last month, the tech firm Samsung came forward with a gaming monitor. It was the 43-inch Odyssey Neo G7. Initially, it was introduced in the South Korean market. But just after a few days, it was released for the Taiwan market as well. As of now, the tech company has declared that the gaming monitor will soon be available in the global market. It mentioned that before the end of the first quarter of the following year, the gaming monitor will be available in most countries across the world.

The Odyssey Neo G7 is the first Mini-LED gaming monitor by the tech company. It has a flat display screen and measures 43 inches in size. It is provided with a Mini-LED VA display and 4K resolution. Additionally, it has a VESA Display HDR600 certification. It has an aspect ratio of 16:10 and HDR10+. Due to the Mini-LED backlight sources, the gaming monitor displays local dimming and consistent high brightness of up to 600 nits. Furthermore, the company has utilized matte coating on the display screen of the monitor in order to lessen light reflections. Besides these features, the Odyssey Neo G7 features the following characteristics:

  • a high-refresh-rate display
  • a 144Hz panel with a 1ms response time
  • support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro
  • two 20W loudspeakers
  • one DisplayPort 1.4 port
  • 2 HDMI 2.1 ports
  • two USB 3.1 Type-A ports
  • Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity
  • a VESA 200×200 mount and RGB lighting on the back

In addition to this, the gaming monitor is based on Tizen OS. The gaming monitor is provided with support for music and video streaming apps as well. It also includes Samsung Game Bar, Flex Move Screen, Game Picture Mode, and Samsung Gaming Hub. The Game bar is provided with full-fledged information about the game like the input lag, HDR and VRR modes, frame rate, aspect ratio, and audio output settings. The Gaming Hub by Samsung is accompanied by cloud game streaming services like Microsoft Xbox Cloud, Nvidia GeForce Now, and Amazon Luna.

The executive VP of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, Hoon Chung, states that the gaming monitor market is about to undergo rapid growth. He mentioned that we are providing the consumers with something more than monitors. The latest tech by Samsung is all in one go i.e., providing entertainment and technology.
