Samsung Galaxy S23 Rendered Design Exposed

Months before the official market launch, the first images of the new Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ appeared online. The new premium smartphones are expected in the first quarter of 2023 and seem to be based on a minimalist design. The footage that emerged is based on rendered CAD plans provided to well-known leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) are present.

The last few years have shown that renderings of this type can be very close to the final design, especially in relation to Samsung’s new Galaxy S series. However, there is no real “wow” effect. The shown cases of the Galaxy S23 (6.1 inches) and Galaxy S23+ (6.6 inches) are comparatively inconspicuous.

From all appearances, the two Android smartphones in the style of this year’s Galaxy S22 Ultra will lose their additional camera bezel and thus have freestanding lenses on the back. The rest of the design, including the compact hole-punch front camera, doesn’t seem to have changed much compared to the current model – metal frame, rounded corners, OLED display.

Samsung Galaxy S23 (Plus): rumors about the technical features

Technically, the Samsung Galaxy S23 family is said to rely on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, although the in-house Exynos 2300 is still in the room as per SamMobile. Furthermore, you can count on the usual configurations with up to 12 GB of working memory and 256 GB of flash memory. While the Galaxy S23 Ultra is predicted to have cameras with up to 200 megapixels, the “smaller” smartphones should be satisfied with up to 50 megapixels on the back and a 12-megapixel front camera.

Improvements are also expected in the area of the fingerprint scanner, the speakers, and a larger battery. The presentation of the new Samsung Galaxy S23 models is expected in spring 2023, probably in February. An official confirmation is still pending.
