Some information about the display and other key features of the Vivo X100 Pro+ and X100s

Vivo X100

In November 2023, the Chinese smartphone company Vivo debuted the flagship X100 smartphone in China. However, the company didn’t announce the X100 Pro+ at that time. The company delayed the release of the premium model of the series until the first half of 2024. As of now, we have come across some fresh details regarding the upcoming Vivo X100 phones.

Some new details about the Vivo X100 Pro+ and X100s

The new information was shared by the tipster Digital Chat Station. One thing to notice here is that the tipster didn’t mention the names of the forthcoming flagship smartphones by Vivo. The tipster claims that one of the smartphones will feature a 1.5K display with 2160Hz PWM high-frequency dimming. However, the other device is tipped to feature a 2K Samsung E7 panel with 1440Hz PWM dimming. Most expectedly, the tipster is referring to the Vivo X100s and X100 Pro+.

In addition to this, the tipster claims that the upcoming smartphones will feature a triple camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 200MP periscope unit. In the past, a report emerged that suggests that the Vivo X100 Pro+ might arrive with a satellite communication feature. It will feature the same design as the X100 and X100 Pro. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with 24GB LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB UFS 4 storage. It will pack a 5,400mAh battery unit that will feature support for 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The Vivo X100s, on the other hand, is reported to be powered with the Dimensity 9300 SoC. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for either 100W or 80W charging. Rumors suggest the X100s will feature two 50MP camera sensors and a 64MP telephoto lens.
