Vivo Y31 Exposed On Google Play Console
Vivo Y31 recently got several certifications including Bluetooth SIG. Now, the device has surfaced on Google Play Console. And we can now have a closer look at the internals of Vivo Y31. For starters, it is a budget-oriented device from Vivo. It will be launching in global markets as-well. We also have the front design of the device. Spoilers: It is nothing fancy!
Vivo Y31 Design
Well, only the front side of the device has been exposed. It shows an old design. There is a teardrop notch, which is popular among entry-level smartphones. We can see three buttons on the device. Two of them are placed on the right side, which must be a power button and volume rockers. While on the left-hand side there can be a Google Assistant button. But we haven’t seen budget phones with a dedicated Google Assistant button. Hence, it might turn out differently once the phone is out.
Vivo Y31 Specifications
We now have a closer look at the specifications of the phone. According to the Google Play Console, the device comes with the model number V2036. We saw this model number certified on Thailand’s NBTC as-well. The smartphone comes with 4x Qualcomm Kryo 2600 cores clocked at 2000MHz and 4x Kryo 2600 cores clocked at 1800MHz. The SoC features Adreno 610 GPU. It means that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor.
The Snapdragon 662 processor is gaining popularity. We saw a lot of MediaTek powered phones in early 2020. The Helio G series was dominating the market. And now we have devices with Snapdragon 460 and Snapdragon 662 as-well. POCO M3 also came with this processor, and Vivo Y31 can be the answer to POCO. Although, Vivo Y31 will have to offer something unique. POCO M3 is having a great design for a budget phone. Vivo Y31 comes with a screen resolution of 1080×2408. It has a screen density of 440DPI.
The Vivo Y31 comes with Android 11 out of the box. Does it mean that we will see OriginOS out of the box with the budget Vivo Y31? Well, time will tell. We do not have any confirmed launch date for this smartphone, but due to several certifications, it could be expected that the launch is around the corner.
