Vivo X100 Pro+ will have an AMOLED Samsung E7 display

Vivo X100

The next flagship by Vivo, the Vivo X100 Pro+, is expected to arrive in the first half of next year. Some fresh reports suggest that Oppo will opt for the Find X7 Ultra branding instead of the Find X7 Pro. Similarly, Vivo might opt to use the Vivo X100 Ultra and replace the X100 Pro+. Even though the device’s ultimate name hasn’t been formally announced, the most recent leaks today shed light on the X100 Ultra’s display and principal camera functions.

Some information about the display and primary camera of the Vivo X100 Pro+

The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are accompanied by the OLED panels supplied by BOE. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the X100 Pro+ will feature the Samsung E7 AMOLED display. It will offer a 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The information was shared by the tipster on Weibo. In contrast, the X100 and X100 Pro feature a 1.5K resolution.

Well, this was not all that the tipster had to share. In another post, the tipster revealed that the Vivo X100 Pro+ will feature a 50MP primary camera. It will be the LYT-900 with a large aperture, the same one that is expected with the upcoming Oppo Find X7. The same camera sensor will be a part of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which is expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2024.

The Vivo X100 Pro+ is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Furthermore, some reports suggest that it will be the only member of the X100 series that will feature support for two-way satellite communication. In addition to this, some other reports suggests that the smartphone will feature an IMX589 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, and an IMX758 50MP portrait lens on the back. The smartphone will run on Android 14 and Origin OS 4. It will pack a 5,400mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
