Now that we are getting close to Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8 series’ release, more leaks appear on the internet. Previously we wrote about the Galaxy Tab S8+. Today we came with the highest-end model – the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
The Galaxy Tab S8 series consists of three models – Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra. Being the top-level device, the Ultra model enjoys the top specs. It has the largest screen of the two, which is a 14.6-inch display. The company has equipped the display with WQXGA+ resolution. It also features 6.3mm bezels on all sides and a notch for the dual front selfie shooters.
According to the listing sites, Samsung has equipped this model with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and an Adreno 730 GPU. The S8+ model also comes with the same SoC. The processor on this model will accompany two variants of RAM/ROM:
- RAM range: 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB.
- Internal storage: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
In terms of power, we get a heavy-duty 11,200mAh battery with a 45W fast charging support. The device measures 208.6 x 326.4 x 5.5mm. In terms of software, we will get Android 12 along with One UI 4.1.
Going to its optics side, we get a dual-front camera setup, which includes a 13MP primary shooter and a 6MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the rear side, we also get a dual-camera setup – 2 x 12MP sensors including an ultra-wide-angle lens.
Other features of this device include DeX support, a dedicated Health app, and S-pen support that might attach to the back panel magnetically.
The only thing we don’t know as of now is its price and release details.
